Great choice. I personally like the deep tone and rumble of it also. This sunday im pulling the trigger on BBK shorty headers, BBK catted x-pipe, and Pypes Pype bomb cat back system. I cant wait to hear the combo!

I'd go with some Pypes Pype bomb or some Roush mufflers. Ive heard the roush mufflers in person and they sound very mean

I put Bassani's on mine and absolutely love 'em! If you want LOUD and noticeable, they are not the way to go. If you want something that sounds aggressive but not at all obnoxious, they are just what you're looking for. And drone is not an issue either. Can't go wrong in my opinion.

I just switched from my wrecklessly aggressive Mac (for sale once I clean them up) to Bassani Race mufflers. I do miss the raw sound of the Boomtubes but love the new sound and comfort. I can actually hear my fiancé while driving now. The Boomtubes were just insanely loud. Bassani is quieter and smoother and no drone.

Have you thought about going cat back? a little more expensive but a little better sound in my opinion. I know up there i posted i was going to get the pypes pype bomb cat back but i changed my mind. 1,500 bucks later, i ended up with BBK shorty's, BBK catted x, and a Borla ATAK cat back.

The previous owner put a SLP X pipe with HiFlow cats on, so im thinking the axle backs should do for now. But thanks for your opinion, every bit helps.

Running kooks long tubes with kooks h pipe and Mac axle backs and I'm very pleased with the sound. Highly recommend.
