Yeah I thought that. When you moved the harness a little the fan would shut off. Move it back and it came on. Either way I had the dealer get it done right.

Bought 08 GT Used: Problems found: Hood Scoop broken (the prev owner removed the plastic block used to keep air from actually flowing into the scoop) causing the back to flex and break - fixed by JB Weld (temp fix till I get my new hood I want); AC Door clicking sound thing - is there a fix for that that I can do??, some front end noise with bigger bumps (to be expected), side to side swaying over certain bumps in the roadway (in rear end), I suppose an adj panhard will probably correct that; The cheap a$$ "fabric" in the door came off, trying to figure out the best way to glue it back on (above the "arm rest" to the bottom of the window opening, some small clearcoat bubbling on the very top center of the roof..... Oh and the previous owner mustve been fat because the seat cushion is so worn out the metal support rod in the seat on the right side stabs my back (the pad seems to be dislodged or broken off) - guess I need a new seat too)

42k miles

Specifically, this one of mine:
https://mustangforums.com/forum/8031141-post13.html (pull the actuator electrical connectors 1 at a time til you find the culprit)

Pump, thermostat housing/cap, head gasket, your description is lacking details for anything specific to point directly to..

If you're seeing pooling coolant not from the cap area under the car and obviously losing coolant, then check the housing. The 4.0L v6's(mustangs, rangers, etc) use a plastic molded thermostat housing that eventually melts/cracks/splits. Not a question of if, but when.
