You don't have under drive pulley do you?
Disregard, I didn't read page 3. Wish my stock Alt would die all ready. If I ever had a doubt about ordering the PA from AM, it is now long gone.

Just going to post this. I had a very similar issue. After messing with it, ended up being the smaller positive cable attached to the battery. I had put my trickle charger connection on it for winter, and I just leave the plug there.
Well that nut worked itself loose. You could see where it had even been arching. Put my old alternator back on, tighten, all is good.
HOW DID I MISS THAT, and my dad, a mechanic his entire life that I swear can fix anything with his eyes closed miss, lol.

Thanks Wayne for the great info. You solved my problem with your great post. My code 0622 turned out to be the Fuse 43. It was lightly corroded just enough to cause a intermittent problem. I don't know about you, but I have tracked down many intermittent problems in my time and they are the worst type to solve. But thanks to the great info you posted I was able to find it quickly. I would have never known to check a fuse for a intermittent problem. YOU THE MAN... Thanks again.. Dan
