So i was going to just but the stock fluid back in but ford keeps confusing me. The books say mercon for the manual but when i called the dealer they said mercon V. I might just go with amsoil instead. What exact amsoil are we using

In a manual transmission if it is asking for a 75w-90 you would use "Manual Transmission & Transaxle Gear Lube 75W-90". If you need some help ordering it I can help you just email me if you have any questions.

It says to use Mercon (and some people say mercon V) not a gear lube

I messaged tremec and asked if I should use amsoil and they told me mercon, dextron or mobil 1 synthetic, does that mean I shouldn't use amsoil?
