Limited slip upgrade?
I have the stock traction lok diff in my car, I am putting 3.90 gears in it and i was wondering if it was worth upgrading the differential if i already have one? Or would it be worth it to just do the carbon disk rebuild? Does it have those already? The car only has 36,000 miles on it

how many miles on the car? Unless you plan on drag racing a lot or drifting, the stock clutch disks are good for probably 100K+ If you're past 50K a rebuild would be a good idea regardless. I've thougth about the carbon fiber ones for when I do my gear upgrade but I haven't checked into any real benefit.

I'm searching for upgrades too.. My factory clutches gave out at around 40k... I upgraded to the carbon fiber ones... they gave out after another 60k... So, that's probably not too bad..
I don't plan on keeping this car for more than probably a couple more years, or I'd do a Trutrack or something like that.

I need to replace my clutch packs in my diff. I've been thinking about buying the whole rear axle from frpp with 3.73 gears and 31 spline axles. The $1400 price tag doesn't bother me, it's what do I do with my used axle. Try to sell it on craigslist or make a yard ornament out of it.
