Stupid Question about Axle Backs

Im picking up a used set of LMs tomorrow for my bone stock GT. I am 99.99999999% sure that an axle back doesnt require a tune. So my question is, does an axle back need a tune whether its used or not if that makes any difference at all? Thanks!

EDIT: The car is a 2005 GT btw manual.

No tune required / needed for axlebacks. They have no impact on the PCM or performance for that matter, just better tone.

Ok thanks. Just wanted to make sure dont want to ruin my new cars engine lol. It only has 28000 miles lol.

Just thought of something else. I know that there are some parts that are say 07-09 specific and 05-06 specific. Do all the exhausts have the same fitment from 2005-2010? Thanks.
