Brent is going to dynotune the new motor, so it will be a safe reliable beast!!
Yeah I plan on doing a 301 stroker from eagle eventually with high compression pistons but for now I just wanted to upgrade the heads and I wanted to know that it won't blow and have a piston kiss a valve on my new heads. Yeah I was planning on getting A set of frpp heads but I didn't know if I should go with stage 1 or stage 3. I see ford offers 3 different heads for it? I saw A stage 1, stage 3, and a big valve head. So you think with my frpp cams im better off getting a stage 1 head?

FRPP has stock heads, mild CNC ported heads (vpA - Stage 1) and the big CNC ported, big valve heads (vp3 - Stage 3). I am getting the mild ported versions. With the hot rod cams I would stick with Stage 1's, considering the 3's are like $1400 more than the 1's for not much more, if any, gain.

On the other hand, a set of Stage 3's with some Comp Cams 127400's or 127500's would be pretty wild (but probably not that streetable)

I would strongly recommend waiting on the heads until you are ready to pull the trigger on the stroker unless you frequent the track or don't daily drive your car. The combination you have now breathes about as good as it's going to. Bigger heads may open up your top end a little bit, but your low end torque will suffer for it. The $/HP is pretty high for what you get with big heads on an otherwise bolt-on, N/A motor. Granted, my experience may be biassed because I live at 6000' and the ambient barometric pressure isn't enough to generate decent intake velocity with the p&p'd heads, but the principle is the same.
