You really just answered your own question. Get it tuned to the CAI by a good reputable tuner. If you put a tune required CAI on it with out the tune, you are going to be running way lean and more than likely throw a code. Get your tune and then put it all together. Be patient!!

Wait. You need the tune.

Get the tuner from americanmuscle.com or brenspeed.com. You want a custom tune, not the generic tune from sct or diablo.

Getting a tuner is probably the best thing to do, even when adding something as basic as a CAI, it helps if the ECM is calibrated for it. You'll see better results.

Although it wouldn't hurt anything other than throw a code in the very short term (although some cars might not run right), I wouldn't recommend installing it until you get the tuner and tunes. Long term effects of running lean can mean engine damage.

Be patient. Don't do it. It won't rub right and you may risk damaging something. Not worth it, besides a cai with no tune isn't going to do much at all so don't get to excited haha.
