Liek he said. Dyno's are good for one thing, tuning.

I'll post the sheet after they send me the run files but I got dyno'ed today. All I have is a full exhaust and gears. No intake or other motor mods.

283rwhp and 296rwtq but a noticeably stronger mid-range, which is what I want.

Nice! Looks like you were lucky to get one of the engines that are stronger. Good solid numbers.

Thanks!

I was actually hoping to get more horsepower and 300rwtq but with out a proper tune I know what I got is more realistic. I hope to add quite a bit of power (hopefully get in to the 320's for both rwhp and rwtq) with the charge motion delete plates, intake, and under drive pulleys I have sitting in boxes. After they're installed and the car is tuned I want to post a thread about what gains to expect for each level of basic bolt-on's. Hopefully summer of 2014 holds FRPP Hot Rod cams.

In retrospect, I just remembered I am still running 87 octane. I had a 93 octane tune but didn't think to load it. When I did run the 93 tune last summer (stopped due to cost of gas), the car felt faster and was a bit louder. I know from another Mustang I had the dyno for the intake I had and switching between 87 and 93 showed gains of 9rwhp. So, had I remembered to switch, I probably would have thrown down another 5rwhp and 5 rwtq, getting me over the 300rwtq bar I was expecting to see.
