Default Further Mods for my 07 GT

Hey guys, looking to make another purchase here soon in the next few months before I go on deployment.

As of now I have:

Air raid cai
Bama custom tunes
JBA cat back
Retro solutions 6000K 55w HID kit Head and Fog lights.

Open to appearance mods too. As of now I believe I want to go with a throttle body. My car is still under warranty so I'm wanting to keep it stuff I can tune it too but that doesn't exactly require a custom tune to run right just in case *knock on wood* that something doesn't require warranty work and would void my warranty.

My Stang

Gears made the biggest difference for me! And if you get gears, don't fear the gear! I have 4.30s and love them. Because of these gears, I will run with vipers and gt500s up to about 60 mph until they start pulling away. 1 and 2 gear are awesome with 4.30s!

I was considering gears, but I believe I would go with the 3.73's I live in the city and don't wanna murder my already 17mpg because of the way I drive lol. Best I have got was 25mpg on my road trip back to georgia from arkansas.

So gears before throttle body? I've heard of the BBK throttle body screwing up alot of crap with the 05-09 stangs.

Don't mess with the throttle body. Aftermarket TBs have the reputation of being garbage around here and causing more trouble than they're worth. Gears would be my choice.

Ford Racing gear kit from american muscle? How much maintenance does a new gear set have to have yearly? I'm considering the 3.73's more than the 4.10's because I don't want to kill my gas mileage too much. How much gas mileage am I looking to kiss goodbye? My car is automatic by the way. 27,000 miles

3.73's with an auto are about right for daily driving and rompin around imo. The 1st gear ratio with an auto is shorter than with a manual, so 3.73's are more aggressive. Gas milage will drop about another 1.5 to 2mpg with the 3.73's, but don't feel bad i'm down to 14mpg and loving it

Do you have 3.73's on your car also? I'm definitely gonna look into them. How much would it cost to have a shop put them in?

I had brenspeed install my gears and I believe it was 400 for install. If your worried about warranty then why did u mod the car. U have a tuner so it's not like u can hide anything. The dealership will know u flashed the car regardless if you put it back to stock. So u might as well mod away man

Do the 3.73's. They work great with the auto. Just make sure you have a good trustworthy shop do the install. If you get any gear whine take it right back to them to fix (and make them do it for free).
