You have the KB 2.6? I modified the lower manifold for better coolant flow and port matched to the stage 3 heads, added a methanol plate and modified the intake plenum(added about 25% more volume)

Yes 2.6. Stock cams, heads and jba shorties. The heads do have manley valves and comp springs but nothing that adds any extra flow. I also have a huge 10 gallon fuel cell I use for my intercooler water. I only run 3 to 4 gallons in it. But it holds 20 lbs of ice.

No news is usually bad news in these types of situations.

More people have had problems with those damn BAPs. Your engine compartment looks fantastic.

Ok. Went to the dyno on Friday. Only had a little time on it. At 13 degrees of timing at 14.5 lbs of boost the car made 545 rwhp at 6300 rpms. That was on a mustang dyno. So that is 600 to 625 on a dynojet.

There wasn't enough time to dial in the methanol, but I am going to bump up timing 2 degrees over 3500 rpms and run 50/50 instead of 30/70. Just going to keep an eye on knock retard.

The tuner was surprised it put down that much power at only 14.5 lbs of boost and 13 degrees of timing.

I spent the extra money on the heads, cams and intake mods so I wouldn't have to run 18 lbs or more of boost to get the same power.

Going to 15 degrees of timing with the right methanol mix will give me a little more power. Especially on 90 degree days.

So I think it was a successful build.
