I wouldn't think so. At least that's all I'm gonna do to mine, a visual inspection.

+1 on the cabin air filter. We all know how often those darned things have left us stranded on the side of the road. And since we all wear filter masks from our house to the car and whenever we drive with the windows open, it's imperative to have a clean cabin air filter.

Sorry, guys. I think cabin air filters are another fleecing of the public. You don't wear a filter mask in public so why is the cabin air filter such a big deal on people's list to the point of getting paranoid about it (and a lot of you are)? Your interior will get dusty, cabin air filter or no cabin air filter.

I agree 100%. It's such a joke that they started putting these in cars. Just another way to get you to spend money.

So from the color of the coil boot I should know if I have the one piece spark plugs or the crappy two pieces correct? Mine looks black so I guess I have the two piece ones...

Looks like you got the 2-piece plugs

get the special tool before going any further

and read the tsb, buy some penatrating oil and anti-seize

I went with E3 sparkplugs, because they're fixed gap (like stock) but are one piece.

Still 2 piece for my car, and had 5 break during the change. Lisle tool should be on hand. I break the new plugs loose and every other oil change. No problems and OEM plugs are the most reliable as far as not misfiring according to mulitple Mustang/F-150 forums.

Aren't you supposed to put some dielectric in the boots when you remove/reinstall them? Seems like I read that somewhere.
