Default Rattle after revving with clutch pedal depressed?

Well iv been working on my launches and 0-60 times since I cant seem to get under 5.7 so from a stop ill rev it up a little bit with the clutch pedal depressed before I takeoff. At first I noticed it was just after hard shifts I would hear the rattle as during normal driving it is not present. Today I noticed the sound right after rev and takeoff from the light. So I would assume it has something to do with the revs with the clutch pedal depressed before I go. Seems to be louder and last longer the more/higher I rev before I takeoff. And usually it only last 30 seconds-minute, unless I again rev before takeoff. Sound is a rattle from the shifter area and if anything can be heard toward the back of the car as well.

Car drives fine when rattling no loss in power or anything like that just annoying. Car also has the separator plate buzz if that has any relation although the sounds are completely different. 05 GT 65000 miles stock except for Hurst shifter. And yes I checked and double checked that all bolts/screws are secured within the shifter.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Its not the heat shields and as far as the tsb iv been under there and hit the hanger/mount and it doesn't seem to be that either. I tightened everything under there exhaust related and took it for a spin, still the noise is present. The exhaust has a slight rattle when hit but don't seem to be the same sound. The tsb also says it is rpm specific which leads me to think something else...

It isn't rpm specific or gear specific. It only happens after a hard launch/hard shifts and only last a short time before going away again. The rattle also starts in the gear shifter area and goes back; even to the sides somewhat. It defiantly goes all the way back to the trunk area as well.

I can easily duplicate it by revving with clutch pedal pushed in. About 1-2 seconds after clutch is released it can be heard.

It is a convertible if that makes any difference.

Video isn't to show the problem but if you still think that could be causing it. Sounds pretty solid to me.

You gotta bend the heat shields away from the car's underside instead of away from the exhaust towards the car. Sounds counterproductive but that's the solution.

Well I certainly have been under there a number of times recently making sure to bend the head shields toward the cars underbody and away from the cats/exhaust...so I will give that a try thanks

No prob! Mine was rattling because I kept pushing it against the car thinking it was hitting the exhaust. I just worked on it so that the only parts touching the car were the mounting points but it was still far away from the exhaust. I hope it works for you.
