Default Transmission/Shift Issue

Hello all,

2007 Mustang GT, manual. Tried using the search button as I'm sure I've heard of this before, but I don't think I was using the right terms. This just popped up on my way to work Wednesday morning. I was cruising into work when I found myself unable to put the car in any gear. The shifter is just completely loose. There is no grinding, the clutch works fine, and everything else in the car is normal. It didn't make any noise at all, I suddenly just found myself coasting and able to move the shift **** in any direction regardless of whether the clutch is engaged or not. At one point while parked I was able to jam it into second and then back into neutral, but it was by pure luck. I managed to park it at one of the businesses and got it towed home so I can work on it. I have a feeling once I can take a look at it the problem will be pretty obvious, just wanted to get some ideas from you all. Thanks for the help!

Modifications to the transmission:
Exedy clutch
Exedy aluminum flywheel
Stainless steel clutch line
Exedy TOB
MGW short throw shifter

I'd also like to caveat that I beat the **** out of my car, so there's that.

Bolt connecting the linkage had backed itself out. Put some loctite on it and put it back on.
