Default Give me some suggestions..

Okay so I have a 2006 GT with headers, o/r x pipe and slp loudmouths with 3.73 gears. Time to upgrade some lol, I need some suggestions for a cam. I was looking at frpp hotrod cams but I heard they don't make as much power as other cams, I want sound and power. Mostly power, but I want that aggressive idle also.

Also planning on changing gears, should I run 4.10s with the cams? Or could I do something more steeper? I'm not going f/i atm, that'll be awhile. Also planning on getting a 3k, or 3500 stall torque converter.

Stay at 3.73, the difference between those and 4.10s isn't worth another $500+. I would spend that money on traction. Like lower and upper rear control arms.

Can't answer about cams, but from what do I understand you might want to look into cams that are springs required with a phase limiter to start making real power. That would sound so awesome too. Most people around here make a little over 300 RWHP with Hotrods and the same mods you have.

I can get gears installed for $175 here from a trusted shop. How about 4.56 instead, until I go with a supercharger? & I might also go ahead and get a ford racing intake manifold, with a cold air intake. Possibly a new throttle body with it, then eventually get ported cylinder heads.

if plans for FI the intake, cai and tb would all be wasted. i think 4.56 is way too much. i love the 4.10

I thought I could use the manifold with a supercharger?

Be careful with the cam choice. You dont want to sacrifice daily drivability for power. 4.10 gears will be fine.

If you plan on going FI in the future, why not save the cash and go FI sooner?

That's what I'm thinking, but I'm not exactly set on it yet. Might trade this 06 in, and get a 5.0 here soon.
