New to the forum. need some advice please
I have a 2006 gt with 36k I bought in may 2013. I purchased the car off the original owner. I'm looking to do some mods to the car. I had 4.10 gears installed. I installed air raids race cai and Bama tune. Car also has flow master outlaw axlebacks. I just recently purchased kooks lt headers and carted x pipe. I'm looking into the hot rod cams, steeda underpulleys and possibly the Ford intake or the delete plates. My question is do I need anything besides the 2 bolts. Any other mods to look in to? I'd like to get as close as I could to 350 at the wheels. Is it possible. Also if anyone knows a place to install around iowa that would be great. Sorry for the long post. Just need some advice. Thanks guys.

I doubt u will hit 350. 335 maybe 340. if you want more power u could NOS or FI. U could do some weight saving mods. don't forget your two piece driveshaft can be replaced with a one piece. If you have an auto get a torque convertor. OIl catch can and a tranny catch can. LCA's maybe some slicks if your gonna go to the track

Thanks for the input. The cars a 5 speed. I may take it to the tack a couple times just depending on work. I will stay all motor for a while. Just trying to make the car a little faster and even more fun to drive.

It looks like you have all the power bolt-ons covered. The cams will help raise the power band a little too and give you the sling-shot feeling at higher RPM. I would expect you to making around 330rwhp or a little more on a Dynojet 224xLC. Even still- it's going to feel a lot more powerful!
Your biggest issue is going to be traction. Especially if the car is already lowered. What supporting suspension mods do you already have or are interested in?

With the mods you are are looking at, you might set your expectations a little lower. 325-335whp is probably a little more reasonable. To push 350+ you will want to get rid of the cats and look at a more aggressive cam than the Hot Rods.
If you are going to stay N/A, the intake manifold is overkill with your mods. You will get slight gains in HP at the top end and lose significant torque on the bottom end when combined with the other mods you have listed. Drivability may suffer for it. The delete plates with the stock manifold are plenty sufficient for a N/A setup.
If you have ANY future intentions of putting on a positive displacement blower (whipple, KB, roush, edlebrock) don't bother with delete plates or intake manifold. They will be replaced anyway.
If you have ANY future intentions of adding a centri supercharger or turbo, then the manifold may be worth the cost.

the ford "hot rod engine" crate motor is the stock 4.6 with a tune and hot rod cams and it makes 350 hp. You should probably look into heads too. Ive been doing the same thing but I might do a 302 stroker too (planning on it)

Hey thanks for the input. Would the delete plates be worth the money with the cams or just hold off on them? My plans are after the cams and the blue valve covers from am is to pick up some wheels and better tires for grip and maybe some upper and lower control arms? the car is not lowered.
