Default Can I drive the car or wait a tune

I just installed 373 gear ratio drop and steed a cold air intake

Can I drive normally or slow ? What speed and rpm

Or do I tune it first ? I ordered the sf4 new sct tuner from AM

And they say there might be some kinda wine or something when not installed properly
Now if that happens can it be fixed ?!!!
Thanks guys

Gears are no problem since the only thing the tune does is reset the speedo calibration, but be aware that your speedometer would be wrong until you got your tune.

As for the CAI, if it's a tune required CAI (which I believe all Steeda CAIs are?) it will run lean without a tune. I wouldn't suggest driving it like this. You'll get a check engine light and may cause damage running lean. I'd just wait until you get the tune installed.

Also, I assume you're talking about gear whine when not installed properly. The fix would be to get them installed properly!

I got the engine light on
And I drove slowly maybe till 60 mph but never went more than 3 rpm .
the shop said they installed it properly but am just asking in case if it happens I didn't want to drive fast so I didn't know I mean I won't be able to hear it till I start flooring it am I correct ?
Exactly how will it sounds like ?! I thought I heardd something when I reached around 60 mph but don't know what I still need to drive it properly

Put the stock intake back on until the SCT x4 gets there.. Don't risk the engine damage.

Yes, our Cold Air Intakes require tuning.

It is best to put the stock air intake back in until your tune arrives.

Best Regards,

Wow you should try researching before just installing something and not knowing what the hell your doing. 60mph isn't fast. So it shouldnt cause any damage your freakin hilarious

Do u know how to hook the tuner to your car

Also... Your putting a lot of extra miles on your car! Need to calibrate the speedo with the tuner as well as the tube for the Cai. They can do it for you if you don't feel comfortable doing it. But for now put the stock box back on and not to drive too much
