Default Looking for a ARP Balancer Bolt Kit for a 4.6 3V

Hey Guys,

I'm doing my cams (comp 127200) in 2 weeks. My mechanic suggested getting an ARP Balancer Bolt Kit and ATI super damper balancer as well.

Found the ATI super damper; http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...9/applications

But i can't seem to find the ARP Balancer Bolt Kit for 3v engines.

I did find this: http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/arp-156-2501
But it says its for 1992-2004 engines.

Does anyone know where i can find the ARP Balancer Bolt Kit or if i can use the one above on my 3v anyway?

I used ATI Damper 918039 and ARP bolt 206-1001 (Mini Copper Cam Bolt) in my forged build. It is my understanding 156-2501 is suitable for the OEM damper.

Here is my install process for the damper:

I use the 2501 arp bolt, but it is a little bit shorter than the stock-length bolt.

@Scott2, you're right, i contacted ARP and they did suggest the 156-2501.
Thanks for the pics! i'm sure they'll be helpful when we do the install.

I did not use the 156-2501, I used the 206-1001 because I felt the 156-2501 bolt was too short to use with the ATI Damper. But obviously it worked for tx_zstang.

One other thing to watch for, you will need a T40 Torx Plus bit for use with the 6 counter sunk cap screws. A T40 bit is too small.

@Scott2, alright thanks, will take a look at the one you used as well.
Already ordered the super damper, what are the benefits of this anyway?
