Looking for unpopular but effective bolt-ons...
Hey Guys,
Right now i've basically done all major Bolt-ons as you can see in my sig.
My last bolt-ons were an Intake Manifold and 127200 Cams...
Giving it another couple of weeks before i order my new suspension parts. Either eibach pro-street coilovers or '13 Cobra jet springs and ford racing adjustable shock & strut kit.
In anycase, i was looking for other "bolt-on" parts i could do to better my 1/4 ET.
I was thinking of swapping out the 3.73 gears for some 4.10's or 4.56's...
How do you think these will work with my 127200cams and TCI 3500 stall?
By how much do you think these gears would improve my 1/4mile ET?
What other "little" bolt-ons could i do to keep improving my times?
Not talking about new heads or anything like that...

It will be interesting to see how much your et will change. With 410s or 456s you should have a better time in the 1/8th but u need power to keep getting higher trap speeds. Theoretically you should do better providing you don't run out of power when attaining higher trap speeds. With those gears it generally effects your torque in a negative way. That's been my understanding anyway maybe someone can chime in with a better opinion.

Maybe electric water pump, to eliminate parasitic loss on the belt. Did you do the battery relocation? Moving the battery to the trunk should help with weight distribution which should help with the launch. E85 tune, may require larger injectors.

No battery relocation yet, will consider it. Just have to look at the exact placement. I wanted to run a dual bottle system for my nitrous. So not sure where i'd place my battery.

Car is already stripped when i'm at the track. Atleast, rear seat removal, passenger seat removal, carpet and trunk accessories removed as well. I think this is the most i'd be willing to strip.

front bumper mount
racing seat
lighter brake system
lexan windows
100 octane tune
if you are fat, loose weight
front sway bar delete
rack and pinion delete
AC delete
elec water pump
I would pass on all of these and get a blower. At first...
