Angry Transmission from HELL!!!

Need advice,

I’m dropping my tranny to replace my clutch, but the tranny doesn’t want to drop I have attached pictures of my desperation and what I'm working with.

I know for a fact that I have all the bolts out of it, even the top 2 bolts (they were easy with a 1/4 ratchet and my "Just F'kn do it" attitude). (pic attached)

I’ve felt all over the transmission to the point that I basically painted a mental picture in my mind just by feeling, only to find nothing stuck.

The only thing I know that should be holding it up other than the pressure from the crank to the input shaft is the 2 "guide rod dowel things" (pic from web showing them).

I have drenched them both with a TON of PB-Blaster, while its on my tranny jack, I’ve wiggled the trans, verbally abused it, turned my crank in an attempt to relieve the pressure on the input, hit it with a rubber mallet, a dead blow, my fist, prying it with a 2x4, more verbal abuse.

I have even tied 550 cord from the tranny to my little jack and another 550 to my rear axel back to my jack, in hopes that the strength of my jack can make that thing budge. (see pic for reference)

I’ve lurked on plenty of forums before posting, since I hate ppl that ask the same exact thing that joe snuffy asked last week just because they were too lazy to search.

Nothing at all seems to work. Is there a secret technique? What God to I have to pray to get this thing out? Please help.

"verbally abused it" "my fist" "more verbal abuse". Dude that is hilarious......not what you need for help but nonetheless well written. Good luck.

I bought a small prybar and pried it, just have to be careful not to bend the plate.. otherwise you'll need a new one of those

Yes I was laughing too! Verbally abused it and your fist. I can see this being an easy first resort! And agreed not effective physically but mentally oh so satisfying. There is nothing like a good PPHHH uck!

I'd the small pry bar- one on each side if you can hold two of them, and get another person to manual rotate the engine.

You have to lift up on the trans to relief pressure of the input shaft on the clutch plate.

Does the trans and bell seperate or are they one piece.
