Good evening Mustangforum guys, I have an 2008 GTCS 5speed, with an issue that just came out of no where about a week ago. It started with my car starting to idle high for a few seconds after starting, ran fine though, after about a minute it came back down to normal and everything was good for about 2 days. than one day when i started it, it didn't idle up like it did before so i thought whatever it was must have worked itself out. but than i noticed that it had a huge loss of power above 4000 rpm. almost like going from WOT to 1/4 throttle where it slowly chugs up to 6000. Sometimes when I'm accerlating from a stop letting the clutch out at maybe 1500 rpm, but going straight to wot, it feels like I'm starting in 3rd until about 2500 rpm and it picks up again. At first i thought it was maybe a fueling or spark problem, but one day i turned the key off and back on while driving and it started pulling hard again for about 5 seconds than back to crap. if i did it again, all was good again for 5 or so seconds. No CEL yet, I've tested the cmcv, replaced fuel filter, tps, MAF, air filter, tested the alt, and all was good. fuel pump maybe? not sure how cycling the key would help, but I'm stumped guys, any ideas?

Scan your ECU for fault codes and go from there.

Seems simple but did you clean the throttle body yet? Possible fuel pump issue, maybe. Did you reflash the tune yet?

Nuke

Clean the TB and be sure to have TCS turned off when doing any "spirited" driving. I'd also run a tank or 2 with SeaFoam before suspecting the need to replace components.
