Garrett 61mm with the billet wheel and ball bearing upgrade. Anyone here btw use any external oil coolers? If so what size lines and how did you route them because I'm thinking of adding one in at some point.

Isn't there a boss kit that splices into the radiator hose?

Sorry for the hijack, but is there something similar for the 4.6? Mine gets kind of hot on the track.

You made a good choice going with Jim's kit. One thing I would advise is to contact Garrett and see what is the smallest oil restrictor they recommend for that turbo. The 3v and ball bearing turbos don't mix well, due to the high oil pressure and volume of the pump. Run the smallest restrictor they recommend. Make the drain line as large, like AN12, of a line you can fit and make it as straight of a shot to the oil pan as you can, without any level spots or 90° turns.

If you can't find anyone local that you trust to tune the car, I can recommend someone for a remote tune, that is very good with the 3v and has done many FI cars. Just let me know if you want his info.

Okay thanks guys for the heads up. As of now I have no startup tune for the car. It's still got the brenspeed tune from the detroit Rocker cams and delete plates. Will the car even start with the new walbaro pump, 47lb injectors, phaser lockouts, bbk fuel rail, and hpx MAF? I'm not going to drive it trust me. I just want to know if it'll even start to check for leaks.

Figure out who you want to do the tuning and get him to send you a startup tune. I wouldn't try and start it with all the changes, everything will be way off.

I actually did contact who I planned on tuning the car. I sent him my info through email but he's so busy I still have yet to receive a tune through him.

How soon will you need the tune? It takes about 5 minutes to put together a start tune with your additions. If he is that busy, he must be some tuner.

Probably in the next week or so. Yeah he does constantly stay busy as he tunes cars from Fords to mopar and is one of the more popular guys here in Kansas City.

My friend and I spent pretty much this whole afternoon trying to fit this piece in. It's a major PITA and even after we took the sway bar off was still hard to fit through.
