That's a sure sign of a bad alternator voltage regulator. You can buy an alternator rebuild kit from American Muscle that includes a regulator plus front/rear bearings but there's a good chance that the regulator will have PROC stamped on it.
The best solution is to update to a 2010 Denso alternator.

Also check your feed wire back to the battery. Some of them are fused and if your regulator went bad you could have blown the fuse.

Most likely the battery.
The alternator would be giving you a phantom car effect (inside gauges flickering)

I took the alternator off and HOPE to get one from Advance Auto Parts or Auto Zone Tuesday or Wednesday .
.

You could charge your battery all day, then turn your head lights on for about 30 minutes to an hour.
The battery should be able to keep the light on for that period.
Most chargers (typically rated at 10A) need 7-8 hrs to charge a battery. 24 hrs is best, charging from 90% to full takes as long as 40% to 80%.

Went to Advance Auto Parts , they checked my old alternator , said it was bad.
I purchased a new alternator, came home and installed it, charged the battery , started the engine and all "seems" good.
The alternator hand definitely swings to the charge + side. On a 0 to 100 scale the alternator hand goes to about 65 . I thought it would go all the way to 80 or 90 on the + side.

I hope this "solves" the problem and "Mo-Sheena" ( my Mustangs' name) is back to "normal".
I want to thank Mustang Forums and each one of you for all the good information/help/advice ya'll gave me.

Thank you again .

Mr Chrome my battery charger has several settings, goes up to 400Amps.

Mr Dino would you put a link to American Muscle for that kit and a link to the 2010 Denso alternator alternator? Thank you sir.

That's fine. Mine and everyone else's also goes about 2/3 of the way to the right.

You could use it to repair your old alternator and keep it as a spare.

As for the 2010 Denso alternator, your best bet is http://www.tascaparts.com/auto-parts...lternator-scat

These batteries today just die w/o any warning.

I drove my car to the oil change shop and went to leave and the car wouldn't do anything. Replaced the battery and it's run fine since.

Batteries usually give you a bit of warning (e.g. slower than normal engine cranking) before they die though in some cases, there may be no warning at all. One day it's working fine, the next day it's dead as a door nail.

I started the engine a few minutes today.
Everything is "normal".
I have not driven it anywhere yet, have not had time.

I sure do appreciate each of you giving me the advice/help/information.
Thank you .
