Default Drive shaft-when to get a 1pc?

Hey all! I'm new here & new to Mustangs also so forgive me if this has been asked 100 times (I did search before posting )

I've just got a 2010 GT/auto. Shes awesome, clean & low miles but I'm heading to the strip. In the end-for now, I'd be happy running low 12's & cruising it on good days. Right now it has-
Airaid CAI
Roush catback
Hurst line lock
Ford lowering springs
SR underdrive pulleys
MT drag radials
..looking at Summits driveshaft loop kit (front/rear)
BAMA tunes, tune

Not going to set the world on fire with that, but I am concerned with the 2pc driveshaft. It has the 3.31 gears right now & I'll be fixing that at the end of summer if the first ET's are decent. I know the suspension is going to need a lot, so I'm calling the gear a part of that.

The M/T tires flat out hook. I'm not at a good power level yet, but when do I need to change to a 1pc driveshaft? Still waiting for the track to open, so I have no idea what its going to do. I expect a 13.5ish, anything worse & things get ugly

As long as I'm asking..what are some good places to get a driveshaft? The "Mustang specific" shafts I've found have been crazy with the price. Why is a Mustang specific drivshaft so much $? I've had custom shafts made cheaper

Thanks in advance for any replies!

My original driveshaft had a worn center bearing that would rumble at 90+mph so I replaced it with a DSS 3.5" aluminum one-piece unit. Not cheap admittedly but worth the money and the drivetrain's butter smooth now at well over 100mph.
Swapping axle gears for numerically higher ratios increases driveshaft speed at any given road speed and lowers the threshold for vibes, so that may be the best time to swap in a lighter driveshaft.

I went with an Axle Exchange 4" aluminum drive shaft.

I have a DriveShaft Shop one on my 07 GT. Completely eliminated my driveline vibration. Great mod and it feels like I can power through corners a lot more now too. Could just be me though.
