Ok so as far as future mod plans, first going to re- install my stack racing strut tower brace that we sanded down and painted black and paint valve covers -replace valve cover gaskets, next is going to be drilled and slotted rotors and new pads,GT500 strut mounts,L.T. headers, prob Mac prochamber, but if not a off road X-PIPE,also considering livernois heads, possably some torquey heads that make some down low and have even considered a supercharger! not sure how far I want to mod this Mustang.drive alot out of town.maby buy a 2nd 2005-2009 to make hellatous.lol! All depends on how good work is going.also considering electronic water pump and aluminum driveshaft and some body upgrades like new wheels, ram air hood, quarter window scoops and new grills.always cool to here what others have done as far as mods and how they work and affect performance and milage and all that.thanks!

Unfortunately all the ported head tests I've seen trade bottom end for top end, most of them lose a good bit of torque down low. A lot of mods for the 4.6 trade bottom end for top end, and usually that top end is all above 5000 RPM.

Yeah I defiantly don't want to spin it up that hard to make power.i have seen that they offer some bottom end cams and have considered tuned leingth headers or shorties for headers so I can gain down low and not loose up top and the aluminum driveshaft and electric water pump to make up for some of the loss.what are some of the best mods for low end torque gains? Have Hurd a verry split opinion on aftermarket mods.some rave about top end power and some like low end torque.think the low end torque is more for my style of driving and only want to add to that low end and mid range more than top end H.P..thanks and any info and opinions welcome!

Also I read that the Ford racing intake would cause a little bottom end loss ,but if so it's not noticed and you can feel the difference for sure when it gets above 4k rpms .it also seems to be smoother on acceleration.may be because of the bama tune but it runs strong!

You don't usually notice the bottom end losses too much, I mean I know my cams and charge motion deletes give up some bottom end but I can still drive around at 1500 RPM in almost any gear and not feel like it's lugging.

I really don't know what out there adds bottom end power aside from a roots style supercharger. We have lack of displacement working against us in the torque department unfortunately.
