Well, found the leak. It's the water pump. Apparently it was leaking slowly at first but today found a puddle under car. Ordered the Edelbrock Victor water pump. Figured I might as well upgrade.

I usually don't like to add anything to my cooling system, except coolant and distilled water, but since my new pump hasn't arrived and I have drag racing on Saturday and a track day on Sunday I decided to give these a shot. Amazingly enough they worked?! car hasn't spilled a drop since I added them.

I'll have to drain the system anyway to replace the pump so I'm not worried about residue or long term damage from using these, but at least I won't miss all the fun this weekend. I might keep a set in case of emergency.

You go with the electric pump?

As long as there is coolant on there you'll be fine. I would not put anything on there except antifreeze and distilled water.
