will a rear end from a 2008 automatic gt fit a 2009 manual gt?

Default will a rear end from a 2008 automatic gt fit a 2009 manual gt?

recently i purchased a project car, its a o9 gt with some body damaged and rear end damaged.

i found a guy parting out a 08 gt at and im curious if the axle wiil fit or if the gearing its gonna be off.

All the 05-09 GT's use an 8.8 rear end, so the rear end will fit. The actual gear ratio may be different from the rear end you are replacing and the ECU may need to be adjusted with a tuner so the speedo is accurate.

Correct, there is nothing different about mounting the rear end - they all mount up to the same points and are the same size for 2005-10 GT (8.8"). As said the gear ratio may be different, check the tag on the cover.

All Mustangs from 2011-14 model years use the 8.8" rear end so any rear end from those model years will fit a Mustang from 2005-2014.
