If you start it and it doesn't get out of "Open Loop" before ya shut it down it will smoke like crazy on the next start most of the time!!

I think that you should at the very least see if the startup issues repeats itself again. A 15 minute drive is not enough to get the engine sorted out before shutdown. FWIW

I've never heard of Open Loop, could you explain what you mean?

Okay, I took my mustang out of town and drove it for a total of 400 miles. She drove flawless with no issues, but every time I cold start it she gives a cloud of blue smoke. Not as bad as the week it sat though. When I hot start it she gives a tiny bit of blue smoke. There is also no visible smoke while the trans is in neutral when I rev it. I checked the oil before I left to go out of town, and I checked it when I returned and the level is exactly the same

That's a telltale sign of perished valve stem oil seals. I wouldn't rule out a blown head gasket altogether but since a HG blows more commonly into a coolant passage, it's pretty unlikely.
Replacing valve stem oil seals is indeed a PITA, but it's within the capability of a home mechanic who has the proper valve spring compressor. If the engine's well past 100k miles, you could also use the opportunity to replace the cam followers and lash adjusters at the same time.
BTW, the valve stem to guide clearance is reduced when the engine is hot, and that reduces the chance of blue exhaust smoke from a hot start. The smoke appears primarily at cold starts and on rapid deceleration when the valve stem oil seals are perished.

I don't think you have a problem. My 05 would puff blue occasionally if I let it sit for long periods of time. It only had 60000 miles when I traded for a 17. Take it for a nice long highway drive and see if it does it again.

If you change your spark plugs and they have the black coil boots they'll have the two-piece plugs with barrel to which you should follow Ford's TSB for plug change. If you have brown coil boots the plugs are fully threaded.

If it seems to run OK......idle fine....just drive it awhile and see how it goes!!

Sometimes "Mod Motors" do weird stuff but are fine!!

My '04 Marauder has 270K miles on it and every now and then blows a smoke screen on startup......no oil consumption and no contaminated coolant!!
