Tachometer stopped working
 
2005 GT, automatic. Tachometer and PowerPoint in console quit working.
suggestions?

Failing stepper motors in the speedo and tacks are a common issue on the S197

My '85 GT tach quit working a few years ago. Turned out to be a fuse.

make sure there isn't a penny or dime in there. no ****. mine didn't work until I fished around and pulled a dime out of the power port in the console. 8 ball is correct on the stepper motors. get em' all done at once.
