Ok,

I finally had time to work on the car again. I took the chain off count links paint the links on the end. I put it together and all seems well. When I put it together however I am behide my painted mark on the cam but spot on on crank. I fired it up and she sounds strong and idle for awhile with no timing or misfire related codes. I do have a slight popping at idle but sounds allot like a exhuast leak more then anything.

So should I redo it or is it fine?

Ok he's an update. I tossed the car back together and God is it a beast. Funny thing I I never had a reason to run over 3500 rpm till today. I went to work did my 10hours go and leave and decide to check my codes. Lone be hold po0012 code if up. I knew I was one cam tooth gear off I was behide my paint mark on tooth.


IS this enough to make the code pop.

Someone please answer this is starting to drive e me nuts let alone the time and work in this.

Anyone??? If one cam tooth is enough to make a time issue then it's fine I just want confirmation
