Caliper bolt won’t tighten
#13
Just an update, slide bolt has been changed. It was remarkably simple, old bolt slid right out (I only have 16000 miles....the car is like brand new), new one went right in....i used brake grease on it according to procedure, mounted the rubber boot...tightened to about 30 lb feet.....easy peasy.
Also did the lower control arms to boot as while I did many suspension mods, I never did them. Apparently you are only as strong as your weakest link, and apparently I had no idea how weak the brakes and LCA's were. A mild but very significant difference in the car overall and of course the confidence in braking is lightyears improved.
