Default Flowmaster 40 mufflers installment

Hello, as some of you’s might know. I recently purchased a 2005 mustang GT. It’s bone stock and I just want to dress it up a little... I’m looking to get a set of mufflers. It’s sound pretty good stock. Would putting Flowmaster mufflers on it make a significant difference? I want to make it louder and more aggressive sounding. I’m looking at flowmaster 40 series. I see there are two sizes: 2.25 and 2.5.
What size do do I need for my 05 GT?

i see that one muffler is around $85

do do you guys have any suggestions as to wear I should buy them?

Thankyou guys!

Really appreciate it!

Dom.

Also, don’t you have to Weld them in? Is there another way?
