Options for a supercharger?

The Roush is a roots type supercharger that puts down 475hp. I had one on my Shelby GT350 and I loved it. It never gave me a problem and produced all the power I wanted pulling hard to redline in every gear. I could roll into burnouts with just the tip of the throttle. You won't be sorry with it even with the package tune. If you are not racing for fame and fortune, this is the safest and most reliable bang for the buck. You will regret going cheap.

Sorry, to be more specific, its the "Throwback Kit". Its a full Paxton kit, not a tuner kit. Then Brenspeed adds a tune, colder plugs, fuel pump, and an IAT kit to up the HP. Its a nice kit, and easy to do in a garage with basic tools. For the price, its a great centri kit that's easy to drive on the streets.
Edit: Looks like they're just north of $4k now. I bought mine a few months back, and they were just under 4k. Apologies for the mis-information.

Mine is stock internals, and boost psi is the same as a stock Paxton kit at redline. The "safe" HP figure that I've heard is 450rwhp, so the 505 at the crank should be within that "safe" number.
I was looking at the same thing as you...a full kit, for around 4k, that is reliable, good for the street at track, and fairly easy to install with minimal maintenance. The Paxton came with the tune, all fuel components, and was ready to go in my garage once the last bolt was turned. DOB was my other choice, and the only thing it didn't come with was a tune. But it does look sweet!
Either way, you can't lose, and I can't believe I've waited so long to go FI. Good luck with your choice, and there are plenty of FI guys to help with the install questions.

Really? I am probably gunna buy the Paxton kit now then.
Could I ask you a few questions about it? Like, you said you did it in your garage. Did you have to drill and tap the oil pan? Or modify anything major to get everything to fit? If not then I may have to give them a call over at beefcake racing

Check out the install manual at the Paxton/Vortech site. It actually has a lot of great info, and you can see whats involved.
