Engine Tapping/Knocking Need Help!

Oooo you dodged a bullet on that one in not skipping a tooth on the timing! Good job on finding it though!
Yeah I almost made an equally silly mistake putting our V6 escape back together when replacing the timing cover seals. There's a timing wheel that that sits behind the cover, in front of the crankshaft gear for the timing chains.It sets the signal for the Crank Angle sensor. I was in the process of positioning the cover back on to torque it down and put it all back together when I happened to look over my shoulder to look for a tool and noticed the wheel sitting there.... No wheel = no timing=no spark....
