I would agree with Mike, if you want max hp on the stock engine, skip the long tubes and get KB. As he said only use their tune. With tuners, like everything else, there is a variety of skills and honesty. All that said, almost any supercharger with the factory tune designed for the stock engine will make you smile and do the trick. My Rotrex was awesome but even with extensive chassis, brake and wheel/tire changes it confused the traction control so I had to turn it off. Thus, I was afraid to have anyone else drive the car for fear they would put it in a ditch or do a quick 180/360 coming out of wallmart. Bottom line, I took it off and put it in a box in my garage. Now I have a quick, stock looking Bullitt and I'm over the HP urge. (Can put it back in a weekend though!)

Saving for M90 VMP 500HP kit here. Live in California so...

I think m90 VMP500 kit, all bolt ons, complete suspension set up, alum drive shaft, detroit rocker supercharger grind cams, high flow heads, JBA 50 state shorty headers and high flow cats will make for a very powerful, fun and California friendly set up from ALL my research...

If you don't wanna drop $3,000-$8,000 (Depending on you installing or paying someone to install) on beefing up internals go with M90
Your State might be less strict

I'm doing that now, using Kellog stroker crank, Manly H-rods and Diamond pistons.
Should be bullet proof and lay down about 550rwh.

Do the supercharger itself use an oil?

Yes, it comes serviced with oil and requires changing every 50,000 miles.

You do the Boss connecting rods, forged pistons, stock crank, better oil pump and call it a day. There are plenty of options out there for the 3v. I'm going 10:1 with some boost.

Enjoyed the read. Been wanting to s/c my '05 GT/auto since I bought it with 6k miles back in 2011 - has 21k miles at the moment. I want to stay safe and look and be as reliable as OEM. Gaining a bit of knowledge here.

Roush, as there is a Ford/Roush dealer not far away. Bought my current pickup truck from them in 2006. Will most likely go there for the airbag recall on both vehicles.

Roush blower kits are awesome on your year. I have installed several of them. On some websites like AM it will say the roush 2300 kit is for manuals only. That is NOT true. Its the same kit for auto or manual..you just need to get tune somewhere else as Roush does not offer a tune for the auto for that kit.
