Some more progress on the convertible

Got the manual pedals and the clutch cable in. The auto shifter is out too. :D

Looks like the next step is to get this in and get this car rolling again. I'm hoping with the 5 speed and 3.73 rearend this car will have adequate power.

Also while me and my Dad were at the junk yard pulling a A/C compressor bracket, cause the 88 has a radial and the 90 has the later style [8D]We found this, it's off of a 96 Ranger 2.3 that was laying on the ground. I was wondering if this will work with the 87-90 motorif I use a 93-95 Ranger EGR tube? Also will this header line up with the stock exhaust?

lol before I saw the pic of the header I saw it in the background.

Nice man, how hard was it to install those pedals?

It's not that bad really. This is the 2nd one I've done now. I think the hardest part is taking the pedal reinforcement bracket off. It's really straightforward though. The first time I did it on my Mark VII it took a whole day, but this set only took a couple of hours.

Cool man, engine swap or just pulled the motor for that T5?

Nice, and the header will work. You have to make a monster of an EGR tbe, mix of mustang and ranger EGR tube[&:] but it can work.

Nice btw, but you still should have done a 2.3 turbo while its out lol

We bought the convertible as a roller, and it didn't come with a motor. But there was no way we were gonna run aa4ld behind that little 2.3. It needs all the help it can get lol.

If we could ever find a cheap running TC that would get it, but there haven't been any lol. It isn't like it can't be done later. ;)Especially since the Stang is a 5 speed now. :)
