oil change coming up

What oil do I use on a 93 2.3 notch? It has 12000 miles on the clock.

5w30. Id recomend highmileage, such as Castrol but each to there own :)

Either he has extremely low mileage for a 17 year old car and high mileage oil is not necessary, or was a typo and has 120000 miles which is still low for the age of the car! If the car is leaking oil and you have replaced the gaskets go with a heavier oil to prevent leaks! If not 10w40 I believe was common for your vintage

My 2.3 93 takes 5w30, so does my 90 5.0 GT.

His climate will have alot to do with oil viscosity :)

Nice 2010 Mustang btw :)
