If you have no idea at all where to start, I suggest reading....alot. Once you have done that, come back with some specific questions or concerns.

It isn't too terribly complicated, you have to take a piece of the turbo harness and basically splice it into your current harness so everything plugs in easily. Try to PM sleeper or mgman, they seem pretty sharp on the 2.3T swap and will be able to give better details.

the swap it self is pretty easy, the only thing that usually scares people is the wiring and you have one of the more difficult years to wire but if you follow stingers how too you should be fine! Once thats done and you get to know the car alittle then you can start moding, these engines are really fun and addictive!

If you want to make 400(im thinking this would be about in the raped ape zone) hp I would start looking into witch way you want to go with your engine management early 2 popular choices right now are Moates Quaterhorse and Megasquirt there are other options as well. There is plenty out there that will get you where you want to be it just depends on your skill, knowledge, tools, and money just like any other car project really. The big difference with doing a 2.3T build up and a 5.0 is that you are not likely so see performance parts ads in the mags for them, you have to know where to look and ask around. Its alittle easier now though :-D.
