Question transmission question

i would like to put a shift kit in my 93 4cylander. how do i find out what kind of transmission i have?

Go to this page: http://tjstransmissionparts.com/
In the upper left corner, you can enter the make , model and engine. It will then tell you what transmission you’ve got.

A4LD should be your transmission. It is also known as the C3 transmission.

c-3 and a4ld not the same. True the a4ld is later version of c-3 unsure what parts will interchange. Maurice
Edit if decide to do this be aware the a4ld is not the strongest trans and have history of failing and being expensive to fix. I highly recommend a larger trans cooler if thinking of abusing it. Also change its fluid often.
