Possible new style intake for 2.3

This intake I post on sleepers post about the dual plug. I got this intake off a junk motor. The ports line up to the 2.3t intake. Injectors will fit intake but not the rail. Rail is a single line. I don't think it will fit on a 2.3t with distributor and alternator will need to be moved. The throttle body inlet is approx 2.5". Will not bolt up but was thinking about a adapter plate. Will have to redo water line to original intake. Should flow real good. Was thinking of on the butterflies make them open under boost. It would like a gutted intake and a non gutted also. Have not tested under pressure to see if leaks.

Are you able to take a shot of the part that connects to the head? I might be able to tell what its from

2.3t trottle body will not bolt up. That can be worked out. The fuel rail is large but has only one fuel line to it. 2.3 use two. Here is picture of where intake bolts up and head side. White cardboard is a "temparary" gasket so I could see what lines up. Shows not much difference in ports of head . I was thinking of a aluminium plate to bolt to head and bolt intake to it. I think distributor will get in way and alternator will. Just ideas now.

Its not a B234F head, it is a volvo intake though I think because of the oval ports

Orginal throttle body no cable. Controlled electrically. A 2.3 rail won't work injectors go in straight instead of at angle like a 2.3. Like said unknown what it fit. Laying in pile. Picked it up and went to pay for it he said. You good customer take it. I like free.

It ought to flow awesome. 2 3/8" at throttle body and get bigger if cut it off and move body back. At head measures 2" by 1 1/4" but what is more interesting is the butterfly. If could arrang to open under boost. Would not lose low end torque and gain more flow. 1 5/8" on the round part and 2 by 1 1/4" on the butterfly. Like said maybe future project for mustang or maybe the MGB. Sorry for you people on the metric system I am too old to change. Here is interesting info on this type head found accidently. http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_2089/article.html
