Hello, i have a 1984 Capri RS Turbo
and have just recently finished the engine and got it running a few nights ago. Well it seems to be a little out of tune. I did some minor head work and put 86 TC green top injectors in it.
I have decided, since its not running so great now, to go to brown tops and a LA3 computer.
I also think that a larger VAM would be needed in order to benefit and have it run at its top.

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated

LA3 need proper injectors and intercooler. If not running correct now unless it is injectors or computer isn't going to solve. Mine does idle better with the LB than the pk1 tho.

Yes, if you use the LA3, you need the proper VAM, injectors, and you can get away without the intercooler, but its risky.
