a4ld problem fixed?

Intermediate Servo....as I've read might be the problem with my transmission not shifting from 1-2 but from 1-3 if my intermediate band isn't broken then that could fix it. has anyone ever bought one? where can I get one? word is that they are only like 8.00$

usualy you can buy one from a transmission shop directly...but 8 dollars i dont know, that sounds like a cost price, if you knew someone. but for 11 dollars on ebay you can get it.

there are two in the transmission....be easier to go ahead and replace both if your gonna venture on this path. best thing to do is get the A4LD transmission book so you dont mess anything up.

If your diving in then rebuilding wouldn't be too far away. I found a site that sells just about everything for the A4LD, and they have performance items for then too:D.

yep two little round thigns held in by metal ring ( i never remember the name of the part) which can be a bitch to get out if you dont have the correctly modified flat head. basicaly cut a half moon into the side of the falt head so you have an angle to grab with. if your confused i can take a picture.
