RE: 8 Codes!!!!!
Hi,
Code 223/224 -is usually a sign of a bad ICM.
Code 33 - Check the functionality of your EGR valve. Have you tried cleaning it?
Code 172 - Might be a vacuum leak.
I would start with a tune up and even clean your MAF with the proper cleaner. The trouble codes seem to be maintenance related, except for 223/224 where you will need to replace your ICM. There is also autoparts store that can test ICM too.

Ignition Control Modual.
167 - TPS -> you could have forgotten to "goose" the throttle during the test (if test was KOER) or a TPS needing adjustment/replacment (KOEO)
172 - o2 sensor -> System was/is lean - Could be a plugged fuel line/injector or a bad o2 which has kicked your computer into limp mode
186 - MAF/injector issue -> Either a bad injector (relate back to the one above) or a dirty MAF (also look above)
223 - ICM -> sign of failure on the near future. Replace or wait till it fails (dose your RPM needle not read or read low?)
224 - Coil Failure -> coil has failed or is not connected. Try switching coils or unplugging one then the other to see which one is dead.
33 - EGR -> Didn't open - clean or replace

RE: 8 Codes!!!!!
Its out of adjustment or needs replacing if the engine wasn't running (KOEO) but it would have been fine if it came on in the KOER test (Key On Engine Running)(Key On Engine Off)
