Default pos mustang...

so yesterday i cleaned the maf at work and know my car wont idle... it runs fine when your driving but as soon a you put the clutch in it drops to like 500 rpm... this morning it would just keep dying... i thought it was the maf so i got one from the junkyard... still didnt work... so im gonna go buy a brand new one and see if it works... if not ima return it... any ideas?

First unplug the MAF, if the car starts running better at idle it's a good bet your MAF is shot. My car did just what your describing a while back and that's what it turned out to be. Also pull the codes.

so it was my maf... i got the brand new one and it runs fine know...
