I was browsing craigslist and i came across a 93 mustang 4cyl 5-speed for $500. Has new brakes, rad., battery (the normal stuff). But they say it has a rotted cross member and a clutch cable. How hard is this to fix or did this cause some other damage that i wont see. And what else should i look for Thanks!

Clutch cable would be no big deal. Now rust out now that maybe if in body. If only in the crossmemeber for the trans. That just bolts in and out. Now front crossmember that is a little more work but if it is rotted out rest of car probably is also. Check that part out real good. Info here on replacing cable.

here is a good site to search just put in the keywords and your zip and it will search a certain area from your house but it will only search craigslist
