hello, i have a lx 2.3 the catalytic converter blow up inside of its self,it got so hot it caught the back seat on fire, after that i replaced the whole exhaust now it doesnt run right it doesnt have any power now it started smoking from up front under the dash.. anyone have any idea's thanks

Wow. I would pull seats etc and find out what happens. Maybe some wires got too hot. Check condition of all rubber hoses undercar. Especially the fuel lines and brake lines under the car. Also engine may have had problem that started this. [leaking injector dumping fuel into cat] That is just one idea comes to my mind there probably is more. [Maybe a fuel regulator bad] Numberous problems maybe. Need to check it out from front to back. Good luck you need it. Maurice
