bought a 89 mustang 2.3 auto about 2 weeks ago, had nothing but trouble with the a4ld since, I think the torque convertor went out last night!

Thinking about a 5 speed swap?

Found a 2.3 ranger with a 5 speed, can a ranger trans be used in a mustang?

No Shifter would be under the dash. When the Ranger guys use a t-5 the shifter winds up in the front part of seat. They either use bucket seats or modify the bench seat with cutout. Sleeperinc done a good tech writeup in tech area on t-5 swap. Maurice
