Default 1993 lx conversion

My stepson has a 93lx 4cyl 5 speed hatch. I am trying to help him convert into a 2.3 4cyl turbo car.I have told him with some work, time and some money it can be made into quite a sleeper car and can run with any v8 on the street.Any body have any help or advice on how to accomplish this. He's on a limited budget.Looking at maybe buying a turbo coupe and putting everything over in his car.

Starting with a Turbo Coupe is the best way. Read through the "How to turbo your naturally aspirated 2.3L" post in the Sticky section of this forum and go through the sites linked there. If you have more specific questions about it at that point somebody here can probably help.
