Anyone ever built a subbox that goes into the spare tire well, of course without the spare in there? I saw one in a mag a longtime ago, but can remeber the name.

Philthyfifty did, it lookes preety neat.

Honestly best thing to do is go to a car audio place and listen to the speakers. everyone hearing is diffrent, everyone will not pick hear speakers the same as the next guy.

dude, infinity makes good tweets...150 watts. they make better than decent mids too! and the infinity kappas are about the best mids ive heard. fosgate punch subs are the very best! hands down with kicker running really close behind. the punch power subs will hit as hard as you want i guarantee. have you 2 punch power subs bult into custom box with 1 straight port. push em with a punch 1000 watt amp(the best amps ever created, by the way!!!) and itll beat hte trunk off....for about 1000$. then throw some kappa mids and tweets in and youll rock!!! and theyll last for years. friend of mine has had his punch 150 and 2 punch 10's since i was in 10th grade(im 25 dude!!) thats a long time and they stll hit hard! hope this helps you make a wise choice....
