Default got a question

alright my question is why is the MAF so much better than the speed density. reason i ask is i have an 88 and i know its speed density but what would the pluses of changing over to MAF. Is it easier to tune, more responsive or what and if i did keep the speed density how much will it hold me back from larger hp#'s then if i got MAF conv. and what would it take to convert it and how hard is it. this has probably been asked before but my search never works, if someone could give me a link or anything thanx

Default RE: got a question

I had a 88 sd car it ran ok, and all. But when I got my 92 it was so much nicer, idles nice, responds to mods well, easy to tune, starts and idles cold every time 15 degrees and it idles. a mass air car is so much nicer.
